Although I’m a little uncomfortable writing about myself, I know that some of you may want to know a little more, so here goes!
I’m in my late 50′s, father of three and a grandfather to six wonderful grandchildren. Some of the other labels that fit include husband, amateur photographer, wood worker and entrepreneur.
My career has been largely self-made. I’ve been self-employed and owned my own businesses for most of my working life. Like many of you I have struggled to find the right balance between business-building and other parts of my life.
My greatest joys in life come from spending special moments with each of these children. And those moments can be fleeting, or specially planned outings. It could be swimming or fishing on our lake, trips to unusual places, weekend sleepovers, etc. It comes down to making special memories that they will cherish all their lives, as I (and I hope you) have with my grandparents.
As a business owner I know the long hours and dedication that are required to make a business successful. If you have struggled with that as well, I can certainly relate! This is something that can interfere greatly with making the time for other important things in life.
One of the chief reasons I became involved in network marketing is for the leverage. Although not every opportunity offers the same degree of leverage, it is one of the features that draws so many entrepreneurs to this industry. I searched for a business that presented the kind of leverage that was important to me.
Another of my passions is mentoring. We all carry with us skills and knowledge, even if we’re not completely aware of them. It’s through this business that I am able to help others, showing them how to achieve the success they are searching for. This is something that absolutely thrills me. When you can have a hand in actually changing somebody’s life for the better there is no better feeling!
I am honored to have joined a team that rewards ones efforts so handsomely. By leveraging the team’s efforts, everyone achieves greater success than they could on their own, and that is a powerful concept.
